Breastfeed in Public Every Time You Write a Check

If you’d like to promote breastfeeding as normal and natural more than just every time you nurse in public, consider getting yourself some La Leche League checks! For those unfamiliar with the LLL, they’re “an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.” I wonder if anyone would tell you that your check was “inappropriate” and that they couldn’t accept your money the way that mothers are often (and illegally!) told to leave establishments because they needed to feed their baby. Interesting thought. Anyway, they’re beautiful checks. I love nursing shots. See?

Almost nobody around here accepts checks anymore, even the bigger retailers! We almost never use ours, not even to pay bills (pay by phone or online bill pay). Shame, it used to be a great way to express yourself. Those checks are beautiful.

oooo, i like them! but i don’t think jason would like them as much, and we hardly use checks anymore except for a few bills. they should see if credit card companies would breast feeding images on their cards! you can get just about anything else on them.
