We're Still Celebrating Over Here! Tell Your Friends!

As many of you know, as that’s how you ended up here, we were giving away a pair of Flaming Babylegs as a prize for the Ultimate Blog Party. Well, guess what? Our winner? Didn’t want that print and asked for another. I hemmed and hawed over what to do for a few days. Quite frankly, I was insulted at first. I was taught not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Plus, the “flaming” part of the babylegs prize was to help celebrate our new (and, dare I say, improved!) blog and domain name! While the other prints are awesome, they just don’t quite fit the celebration of our name.

So, I sent her an Amazon gift certificate for $12.00 to buy whichever print she wants. Because, I do understand. She already had the print because she has a babylegs addiction, just like me! They’re the perfect way to keep your kids’ legs warm, especially if you’re wearing them in a carrier or sling. Those pants ride up, don’t they? They also make diaper changes nice and easy if you’re just wearing them around at home with no pants on. (Pants? Who needs pants?) They protect the knees of those new crawlers. Some awesome little girl I know wears them to dance class and all the other girls (and Mommies) are jealous. The list of uses goes on and on.

But it still didn’t feel right. I want to celebrate our new domain in style! I want someone who WANTS flaming babylegs to enjoy them to their fullest extent! I want that person to e-mail me a picture of their little guy or little gal in the babylegs so I can feature it on the site and, as such, send them more traffic if they, too, have a blog! I had all these plans! And they’re foiled! And I was down in the dumps. I was feeling sad. And then it hit me.

I’ll just host a giveaway for the flaming babylegs on our blog!

That’s right. You read that right! I’m giving away a pair of flaming babylegs to celebrate our new domain! We’re all about fire! And babies! And so flaming babylegs are the perfect way to celebrate. LittleBrother has a pair. (Don’t you think he needs the hat?) BigBrother has worn them a time or two as well. They’re cute. They’re fun. And, best part, which I got into a friendly discussion with a commenter, they are gender neutral. Women can be fire fighters, too! They can also simply love fire. Or be uber-funky in general.

So. Yes. We’re still giving away one pair of flaming babylegs. Yes we are.
