Sew U Winner!

I shut down comments on the giveaway post yesterday afternoon and picked a winner. I e-mailed her immediately but I’m just now getting to posting about it. Yesterday was a glorious day, but more on that later! Now? The winner, courtesy of random.org
And so our winner is the 8th comment which belongs to Kelly (girlfloyd)! Kelly said, “This book would be so much fun, I’ve just recently gotten back into sewing!” That pleases me to no end. I wanted someone to get inspired and continue on their sewing path. And that’s what this giveaway has accomplished. How wonderful! (Kelly; I e-mailed you but I haven’t heard back. I need your snail mail addy!)
Thanks for all of our (68!) participants in the giveaway. It was great to read all of your sewing stories. It made me feel not as goofy for making a pillowcase (initially) out of that skirt. I will keep you updated, of course, how the t-shirts I am going to start next week or so turn out. Or if I create paper airplanes out of them or something ridiculous. You never know with me!
