yes i have done that many times but mostly i forget to shut the oven off when im through cooking i hate that..the other day my daughter almost burned down the house broiling taco shells..GEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ

I don’t know what Iwould do without my cinnamon!! I love your site, you are too funny. I haven’t been able to cook fom scratch for a few years. I have multiple sclerosis and either don’t have the energy, or I’m feeling ill from the chemo. Great giveaway, I hope I win.

I haven’t cooked without turning the oven on but I have forgotten many things that were cooking only to be reminded by the lovely smell of burnt food!

Wow, Zucchini Bread without cinnamon? I am definitely going to try this recipe. I have never put something in the oven without turning it on. However, I have had something in the oven for over an hour that never cooked. I was baking a meatloaf once, and when I went to check on it – found out that the oven/stove was broken – the standing pilot light went kerplunk.

i put steak in the broiler and never turned it on, we were eating the pees and carrots and the potatoes because we were so hungry!

Thank you for holding such a great giveaway! I once put a turkey in, then set the oven to self clean. Can you say-fire department?
I’m allergic to cloves (eugenol)-want to get together and have some pumpkin pie and atypical gingivostomatitis sometime?

OK, me just being in the kitchen is a hazard! My husband doesn’t even want me to touch the stove! The other day I started to boil water to make macaroni and cheese, then forgot it was there and left for the store. Luckily my husband turned it off but I’m now banned from the stove:) We would love this recipe book, our zucchini are growing crazy in our garden!!
