I used to see people boarding the elevator at the beach condo building and think a laundry basket...how tacky. Well, fast forward to year 12 with kids. This year I packed our beach towels in a laundry basket. The basket fit in the back of the van perfectly. We carried the laundry basket down to the beach with the towels. The laundry basket fit on top of a boogie board that we dragged across the beach...instant wheel-less wagon. The kicker...my 12-year-old arranged towels in the laundry basket and sat in it under an umbrella. She loved it! I have never ever packed a laundry basket to go on vacation.
