We just arrived home from Aunt Nettie’s wedding. Would you believe that BigBrother walked out of the house, across the patio, down the sidewalk and out onto the bridge with his little Ring Bearer pillow like he was a Professional Ring Bearer for Hire? I can’t believe it either but it happened! All the same, as of this afternoon, we were still three hours from home. I knew that by the time we got home we would need to feed boys supper, let them run off some energy outside and then get into bed. And so, we took our picture at Aunt Nettie’s house (who is on her way to the Dominican Republic on her honeymoon).
I’d like to say I’m confident about tonight’s game, which just kicked off as I’m typing this sentence. But I’m not. I’m remembering last year. I’m also remembering the rough couple of games we’ve just gone through this year. I’m remembering that Willie Parker is on the sidelines due to injury. As I was editing the photo just now, Jacksonville intercepted the ball and ran it back for a touchdown. Yikes. I’ll hold out some hope. But. Yikes.
My feelings are portrayed well by the photo: BigBrother shows his skeptical eyebrow while LittleBrother sayd that we’re #1! I hope the smaller brother is right this time.
