I was excited when the theme was announced for this week’s You Capture challenge. Motion. That’s what my life is: motion. A blur of motion. A continuous, crazy, chaotic, beautiful mess of motion. I love it. I live it. Capturing it is difficult at times as, most often, I want to be a continuous blur of motion with the two little Brothers running all around the house.
However, earlier this week, the late afternoon sun was streaming in the window, I sat on the couch as BigBrother and LittleBrother played super heroes. I set my camera on a slightly slower setting so that I could get a few arm swing in one shot. I didn’t get as many shots of LittleBrother because he was all about crashing into a chair. But they jumped together for awhile.
And eventually, BigBrother fell on the floor, a pile of laughs.
This is what the end of the motion of boys should always be: laughs, sunshine, pure delight.
Next week’s challenge is: Peace. As we’re leaving on vacation for the beach this Saturday (TWO DAYS!), I’m sure I will have many a peaceful shot to show you next week. Or, really, I hope to have pictures of peace to show you. Remember: my life is a continuous, crazy, chaotic, beautiful mess of motion and I do love it.
