That sounds so wonderfully mom-ish. I wish I had known about baby-wearing when I first became a mom - you make it sound like such a wonderful bonding experience.

And, by the way, that color blue looks STUNNING on you! Branch out from your favorite greens, girl (although those DO look nice on you, too)!!

Big Sister and I love babywearing. We loved our Moby carrier for a long time but now we just got an Ergo because the Moby is no longer great for us. Since my little rugrat has weaned from breastfeeding I am so glad that we have babywearing to keep us close. But I am sad to know that we only have a little time left. They grow so fast.

So sweet. Jamison wanted to be down and running around 18 months, no way did he want to be carried in any way, shape or form. I totally miss it and I was packing up his old baby clothes into waterproof bags and got all misty eyed when I packed away our carries. I can't wait to have another little baby all cuddled up in a ring sling.

Love it Love it Love it

We're working on babywearing. I feel like if I don't master it soon, I might lose the opportunity with Owen. You are my inspiration for this, in all honesty. If not for watching/reading about your babywearing all these years, I may never have become interested!

such a beautiful post. I tried to wear my girls, but with no real help with anyone I knew in that department it never really happened. I have always felt like I missed a little something when I see other momma's wearing their babes.

I hear ya'. It's so bittersweet watching them grow and finish precious stages like nursing and baby wearing.

All the best!

I miss wearing my kids -- I think I always will. And I credit all that babywearing with our closeness now.
