Its all about what heels you wear-I can’t wear thinner ones, but the chunkier kind are easier on my feet and my balance.

Christmas IS so much better as a parent!! And don’t worry – I think the majority of parents has that “Is that all?” moment. Mine always dissolves when the girls fixate on one or two things and take a week or two to get around to their other presents.

(P.S. – I LOVE the stocking hanging off his bike. Looks like he won’t let it get too far out of reach!)

We tried limiting gifts and budgeting this year for kiddo and it went ok. Like you, we forgot about all the other relatives giving as well. Kiddo has really only played with 1 gift (the parking garage) since Christmas! Plus his birthday is in 2 weeks so he’ll be set for the year.

I had a moment when I thought Santa hadn’t brought my daughter enough, but now as I sit here staring at a bunch of gifts that haven’t even been played with yet I’m thinking Santa brought way too much….

Wow sorry to hear about the heels.. youch! Sounds like your Christmas went well though and they look adorable in their pajamas too.

Sigh. One day I’ll have kids and will be able to do the “Christmas is better as a parent” thing. For now I can just spoil my cat. )
