I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. It’s amazing to me the way kids process death. Flora just asked after a friend of my husband who died last year. “Is Mr. Tim dead,” she asked. I don’t know what prompted it. I just told her that he was. I wonder if/when she will ask again.

My grandpa’s and one of my grandmother’s all passed before my daughter was born. It’s hard to think that they won’t ever know them…I just hope she is able to get some memories with my last remaining grandma.
