It’s that time of year again. Santa picture time.
We got this one on the fourth take. I would like to caption the boys’ faces as follows:
BigBrother: OMG! It’s SANTA! SANTA CLAUS! CHRISTMAS! WEEEEEEE!
LittleBrother: You guys know this “Santa” is younger than my Dad, right? I hate you guys.
All the same, I’m pleased. Even if Santa does look younger than FireDad. He was very good with the kids, so I really can’t complain. Or shouldn’t. But I miss last year’s Santa who looked real. Then again, at least we didn’t have a scary, homicidal type of Santa, so I really, really shouldn’t complain. Plus, a $20 giftcard to Shutterfly combined with two very happy kids (however miserable LittleBrother actually looks) is a-okay by me.
And, yes, those are the Christmas sweaters, out for their first appearance of the season. Hooray!

Yeah, you win. I didn’t even have my kid dressed to meet Psycho Santa. The sweaters are a win!

Charlie will be going on Saturday afternoon for his Santa photo. I’m afraid it might be the last one. He’s never been too keen on the whole sit on Santa’s lap thing. BUT I did go buy a sweater for Charlie to wear during the holidays and it has a firetruck on it! It isn’t Christmas-y so he can wear it later on in Jan/Feb too.
