Blue Bunny Personals: I’m Kinda in Love

When Mom Central asked if I wanted to host a Blue Bunny Personals party during The Bachelorette finale, I said, “YES!” Immediately. I had a chance to try a bunch of flavors of the new Blue Bunny Personals while at the Type-A Parent conference and already had a new love: Chocolate & Salted Caramel.

That should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me. I don’t really like sweets. Or chocolate. But I love salt. And caramel. So the whole combo in a silky smooth, me-sized ice cream was exactly what I needed. It’s honestly my new favorite flavor of ice cream. There were a few others that I liked, but nothing compared to my love for this flavor.

So, I had my friends over last night for a party. I had four types of wine, buffalo dip, dipping stuffs and, of course, Blue Bunny Personals in Chocolate & Salted Caramel. Here’s a few of my friends who happened to be in the room when I set everything up.

(The rest of my friends were jammed into my bathroom at that time. No, it’s not that weird. My husband just remodeled the bathroom. Hooray!)

We had the TV on The Bachelorette finale while we sat and ate and talked. But that was the problem: We talked. A lot! Since school has been out, the lot of us haven’t been able to get together much. So when we were all in the same room with good food and, uh, good wine, the talk was free-flowing. It was a great evening of just-us — no kids, no husbands, non-stop laughter.

But we all agreed: This was fantastic ice cream.

When I tweeted an Instagram pic of my ice cream (and my wine glass), the general consensus was that the flavor just SOUNDED like it was amazing. I assured everyone that it was, in fact, heavenly.

And so, a big thanks to Blue Bunny and Mom Central for a great evening with friends. (And, yes, her dress on The Bachelorette at the end was beautiful. I love pink!)
