Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with Discounted Apps!
We adore Dr. Seuss books. We have lots of favorites. The Lorax, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who and Wacky Wednesday top my kids’ favorites list. I like to thrown in the lesser known Please Try to Remember the First of Octember because it was one of my absolute favorites as a child. My boys have all of my old Dr. Seuss books (I was in one of those Seuss book clubs as a kid) as well as a collection of their own that continues to grow.
So it might not surprise you that I have collected quite a few Dr. Seuss apps for my iPhone. Oceanhouse Media has some great play-and-read-along book apps that keep my kids occupied when we’re waiting at the doctor’s office, one kid is playing a sport that the other is not or on airplanes. Love them. Learning and fun combined are always good things.

There are 30-some Dr. Seuss apps to choose from. The one getting the most use in our house (or, rather, when we’re not in the house) is the Horton Hears a Who app.
