Frigidaire Mom Review: More Room, Easy Access, YES!

One of my other favorite things about our new Frigidaire fridge has to be the awesome pull-out drawers and shelves. In both the fridge and the freezer, these unique features make it easy to access things and, uhm, clean messes.

You see, I occasionally make a mess. I’d like to blame the kids or the husband, who are all guilty of their own messes, but it’s usually me when it comes to the fridge/kitchen/etc. I get caught up in the cooking and baking and occasionally don’t get lids put on properly. Messes happen. Clean up has to be quick and easy. Now it is.

I’m also loving the ease in which I can find things in the bottom of our (very tall!) freezer thanks to the pull out drawer function. I don’t have to bend down and reach way back to find the frozen piergoies or access our fries and chicken nuggets for quick lunches drawer. I’ve found, accidentally, that the side shelves with the pull out function allow for a little more “stuffing” than a traditional side shelf/drawer. When we were planning for a big party, I had more stuff in the freezer than normal. I could still shut my freezer drawer with the side drawers “extended” beyond their fully closed capacity. It was wonderful.

These little extras are just one more reason that I love my new Frigidaire fridge so much!
