Fun at Home: Weebles Review & Giveaway
This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Weebles.
We’re all about the silly in our house as of late. I don’t know if it’s because the weather has cooled off to the point where we don’t really want to be outside coupled with the super early dark hours that has caused us to get a little giggly in the evenings. But, really, I’ll take it. I love laughing with my kids. Whether we’re dancing, acting out a scene from one of our favorite movies (read: Toy Story is always what BigBrother is acting out) or having a tickle fight, laughter makes me happy.
LittleBrother has actually been giggling a lot. The Weebles Playhouse has him creating fun scenarios, sending non-Weebles up the elevator (read: mostly his orange dinosaur but occasionally a Toy Story alien for good measure) and laughing when he hides them all in the tree house.
Here’s a not-full-of-laughter but still fun video with LittleBrother:
We’ve had some friends over in the past week as well. My friend’s 15 month old thinks the Weebles Tree house is the best thing. Ever. His squeals of delight were a little ear piercing, but they made us giggle, too.

As a last bit of advice for keeping the sillies in your house, remember the song, “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down?” Teach your kids the song and then have them weeble-wobble around your living room. Nota buena: remove the coffee table first.

Well, we have lots of indoor toys my son will be getting for Christmas like a little slide and a tent which will help when the weather gets too cold to play. He is such a happy kid,he is easy to please.

We keep silly with songs, Rock Band Wii and eating popcorn for breakfast sometimes. Sometimes we stay in our jammies all day and watch movies or have a beach party in the living room with bathing suits.

My daughter and I get silly by making up voices for her dolls and having silly pretend conversations with them. It ends with both of us giggling!

Lots of fort building and make-believe games at our house for winter fun!
Wow, Firemom! Little Brother sure did a great job with his review! Looks and sounds like loads of fun. Especially with the guest appearance of the orange dinosaur. He finally got his actor’s guild card from youtube to appear in videos
Thank you so much for the review and for hosting the giveaway! I love to see how toys “work” before purchasing them. Sometimes it’s hard to go by words only. Again, Little Brother, you did a super job! Thank you also Firemom for your advent calendar info….I will definately scoop up your idea as we plan activities with our 3 yr old son. For laughs at night, we bring out the silly bands. We are potty training and the bands are his reward. So we hide his collection of bands and he does his hide and seek, aka search and rescue for the bands. Sounds lame, but it’s entertaining!
Just entered via the no effort entry. Didn’t know if I had to comment here to tell you or not. If not, here is the joke of the day. Why does a chicken coup have only 2 doors? Because if it had 4, it would be a chicken sedan. Yep, it’s my hubby’s joke!
We throw on some music and have a dance party! Good exercise and lots of fun.
I play monster and chase them around the house growling and tickling them.
I dance around and make silly noises and sing silly songs. I do just about anything to get my 6 month old to laugh!
we turn on the music and dance like weve never danced before!
