Fun at Home: Weebles Review & Giveaway
This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Weebles.
We’re all about the silly in our house as of late. I don’t know if it’s because the weather has cooled off to the point where we don’t really want to be outside coupled with the super early dark hours that has caused us to get a little giggly in the evenings. But, really, I’ll take it. I love laughing with my kids. Whether we’re dancing, acting out a scene from one of our favorite movies (read: Toy Story is always what BigBrother is acting out) or having a tickle fight, laughter makes me happy.
LittleBrother has actually been giggling a lot. The Weebles Playhouse has him creating fun scenarios, sending non-Weebles up the elevator (read: mostly his orange dinosaur but occasionally a Toy Story alien for good measure) and laughing when he hides them all in the tree house.
Here’s a not-full-of-laughter but still fun video with LittleBrother:
We’ve had some friends over in the past week as well. My friend’s 15 month old thinks the Weebles Tree house is the best thing. Ever. His squeals of delight were a little ear piercing, but they made us giggle, too.
And now I want to know how you keep the laughter and sillies alive in your home, especially in the winter! Leave a comment on this post with how you do so to be eligible to win a $100 Hasbron ToyShop.com gift card AND a Weebles gift pack from BlogHer and Weebles! Here are the rules:

As a last bit of advice for keeping the sillies in your house, remember the song, “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down?” Teach your kids the song and then have them weeble-wobble around your living room. Nota buena: remove the coffee table first.

Nana time is always fun; I steal sugars from her neck and it makes that grandbaby giggle so she tries to get mine too!
we are always making up silly sentences to help my boy with the “s” sound!
Wow! I had no idea that they even made Weebles anymore. I also loved them as a kid! And now I know my niece will enjoy them too!
We just love a good chase around the island in the kitchen! The 3 year old and 1 year old love squealing as we run circles in the kitchen

We love to sing, dance, have tickle fights, and tell knock knock jokes.
I followed the link and entered.
I loved the Weebles when my teens were little. They kept my kids occupied for hours! Now that Isabella is here, im guessing the same will apply to her! To keep the sillies in a house full of teens and Tweens, is simple. Having a baby in the house is all one needs! Seriously. They imitate her, make silly faces, talk in strange voices, and there are ALWAYS giggles in ot house. It’s awesome.
What a great little helper. My kids and I sing and dance a lot to keep busy and silly! The toy sure looks fun! Thanks for sharing!
My daughter likes to pretend we’re rock stars.
Now that my son is 16, we play ping pong or the WII to get silly. Otherwise, he stays as far away from the parents as possible!
Thanks!

We love weebles! We have dance parties, with me doing most of the dancing and the girls laughing at me
Singing, dancing, telling goofy jokes…there’s always a lot of silliness around here!
For the rest of the day, I’m going to be singing “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down!”
We love to sing silly songs and have tickle fights.
The girls and I love to turn on some music and have a dance party.
We love to keep the laughter and sillies going in our house by spending time with each other, talking in funny voices, playing peek a boo with our 12 month old grand daughter who lives with us along with her Mommy and Daddy. We are one BIG HAPPY family that does everything together, including baking cookies and home made cakes and making a big mess by throwing flour at each other. Oh what fun we have!!
Sing silly made up song with silly faces to match!
